Vetoproof CM745 is a two-component, flexible polymer/acrylic-modified cementitious waterproofing coating (powder + liquid kit) — an elastomeric, crack-bridging cementitious waterproofing membrane. It bridges hairline cracks even after long-term water immersion and withstands negative (reverse-side) hydrostatic pressure, so it can be applied to the inside face of water-retaining structures. It is brushed, rolled or sprayed on in two 1 mm coats (white first, grey second, so coverage is visible) and can receive tile adhesive directly, which makes it the go-to layer under tiles in wet areas and on covered roofs. Saveto rates it non-toxic and suitable for contact with potable water — ask us to confirm the approval before you commit it to a drinking-water tank. Where to use it: • Waterproof lining for water tanks, dams, canals and similar water-retaining structures • Waterproofing covered roofs and wet areas, ready to receive tile adhesive directly on top • Protecting concrete and masonry structures against ingress of chloride ions and carbonation • Surfaces subject to negative (reverse-side) hydrostatic pressure • Filling and over-coating chased-out cracks 0.3–4 mm wide before coating Important: • Movement and construction joints — fill them with an elastomeric sealant and cover with a bond breaker; never run the coating across a joint • Cracks wider than 0.3 mm must not be left untreated — chase them out (up to 4 mm wide, about 15 mm deep), fill with CM745 and let it harden before coating • Wet or running-water surfaces — the substrate must be damp only, and running water must be stopped first with a plugging mortar such as Vetoproof CR747
