Vetonit Putty WR is a water-resistant, white-cement-based premixed putty (skim coat) supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags — you only add clean water on site. It is applied as a thin 1–3 mm underlayment on walls and ceilings to level minor surface undulations and produce a fine, smooth finish ready for paint or decorative coatings. Because it is water resistant, it can be used in both humid and dry conditions, including the walls and ceilings of bathrooms and kitchens. It bonds to smooth concrete, precast concrete, Saveto-plastered surfaces and gypsum board. Where to use it: • Can be used to level minor surface undulations. • Can be applied in wet & dry conditions and onto the walls & ceilings of bathrooms and kitchens. • It can be applied on surfaces that are plastered with Saveto products and on gypsum boards. • It can be applied on smooth concrete & plastered surfaces and on pre-cast concrete surfaces. Important: • Not for floors — it is a 1–3 mm skim coat for walls and ceilings, not a floor screed or floor leveller. • Not for swimming pools or water tanks, and not approved for contact with drinking water — it is not rated for permanent water immersion. • Not a waterproofing membrane — it is a finishing putty under paint, so it will not tank a basement, roof or terrace.
