SI Primer is a cold-applied, fast-curing bituminous primer blended from selected oxidized bitumen with fast-curing solvents and wetting additives. It is the universal primer used before torch-applied membranes — it seals and saturates the surface so the membrane bonds properly. It can be used on concrete roofing, brick, and metal wall surfaces, above or below ground level, and exceeds the performance requirements of ASTM D-41. Where to use it: • Priming concrete roof decks before torching a membrane • Priming brick and blockwork • Priming metal wall surfaces • Above-ground and below-ground waterproofing Important: • Contains petroleum solvents and is FLAMMABLE (flash point 40°C) — keep away from open flame and sparks, and wear gloves and goggles • The surface must be clean, dry and free of oil or grease; stir thoroughly before use • Let it dry fully before applying the membrane over it
