SI JAZERA SHIELD 200 is a torch-applied APP modified bitumen waterproofing membrane reinforced with a 200 g/m² non-woven polyester mat, made in Saudi Arabia by Saudia Insulation. It is supplied in 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm — either black with polyethylene film on both faces, which must be covered by a protection course, or with a mineral stone top finish that can be left exposed on horizontal and vertical surfaces. The polyester reinforcement gives it high tensile, tear and puncture strength (1000 N) with no flow at 120°C for 2 hours, so it stands up to Gulf roof temperatures and trafficked decks. It is installed by gas torch over a clean, dry, sound substrate primed with solvent-based bituminous primer D-41, with minimum 10 cm side laps and 15 cm end laps, in a single layer or multi-layer build-up.
