SI BITUROOF 160 is a torch-applied APP-modified bituminous waterproofing membrane reinforced with a non-woven polyester 160 mat, made in Saudi Arabia by Saudia Insulation. The APP polymer modification gives it high heat stability and good elongation, so it holds up under Gulf roof temperatures — softening point 155°C with no flow after 2 hours at 120°C — and it resists salt and alkali attack. It comes in two surfaces: a black polyethylene-film face for areas that will be covered by a protection course, and a mineral (slated) granule face for surfaces left exposed, horizontal or vertical. Available in 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm and installable in multiple layers, it is the general-purpose membrane for roofs, footings, basements, bathrooms and kitchens, water tanks and swimming pools.
